Vans × Dangerous Minds

2017

The Vans × Dangerous Minds collaboration was one of the earliest community-driven events organized by Dangerous Minds, taking place in 2017 at our very first store on Kolokotroni Street, in the heart of Athens.

Together with Vans and Greek artist Marinos Basiadakis, we invited people to bring their own Vans sneakers—or purchase a fresh white pair at the event—and transform them into one-of-a-kind pieces. Every pair was hand-customized live, based on each person's ideas and personality, making every shoe completely unique.

More than a collaboration, the event celebrated creativity, individuality, and the DIY spirit that has always been part of both Vans and Dangerous Minds. It remains one of the most memorable moments in our journey and an early example of the creative community that was beginning to grow around the store.
